Pick up at Alexandria Port for a
day trip to El Alamein,
approximately 110 Km away from
Alexandria. Proceed to World War
II remains and cemeteries,( WW
II Cemetery). El Alamein Battle
was one of the most significant
confrontations of this War. Your
first stop during the shore
excursion from Alexandria will
be at the Military Museum
including displays of weapons,
military garb and tanks.
Descriptions of the actions of
Montgomery, Rommel and the
others participated in the
battle are also on display.
Lunch break then continue to
visit the WW II Cemeteries,
located on the west of the town,
on a small peninsula overlooking
the sea. The citadel like
cemeteries is the final resting
place for Common wealth, Greek,
Italian and German soldiers.
Drive back to Alexandria to

Day 1: our representative will
pick you up at Alexandria Port
for a shore excursion & day trip
to Cairo, approximately 2 ½
hours by a luxurious
air-conditioned vehicle. Pay a
visit to the Pyramids of Cheops,
Chephren and Mykerinus. Then
proceed to visit the Great
Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh
with a lion's body, which dates
back to the time of Chephren;
the tour also includes a visit
to the Valley Temple, which
belongs to the Pyramids of
Chephren. Continue your
excursion to the Egyptian Museum
which features artifacts from
the Pharaonic period. The museum
displays a rare collection of
5000 years of art which is
considered the largest most
precious collection of Egyptian
art in the world. Over 250,000
genuine artifacts are presented,
including an exhibit dedicated
to Tutankhamen collection of
treasures, gold and jewelry
which were enclosed in his tomb
for over 3,500 years before it
was discovered in the 1920s when
his tomb was excavated. Enjoy

that you will be driven to your
4 star hotel. Overnight Cairo.
Day 2: Breakfast in a hotel,
transfer by an air-conditioned
modern vehicle to Alexandria
where you can see Catacomb that
dates back to the early Roman
period. It was discovered in
1900 after they had been looking
for it for about 12 years.
Continue to Qayetbay citadel,
situated on the entrance to
Alexandria's eastern harbor
where the place was exact of the
famous Lighthouse. Enjoy
Alexandria library from outside.
Lunch at local restaurant. After
that back to the cruise for your
final departure.
